Odd and weird accidental Physics during the Counter Strike game… www.GeekfestClan.com – Posted here are a couple of videos originally created in preparation of our Counter Strike Clan’s annual “GeekFest” LAN party. One video is a tribute to our 2007 overall winner: [GF]Captain Spaulding. While Spaulding landed a solid and well-earned kill, what made this particular scene from the match stick out in my mind was the way in which clan member [GF]Gh0st’s entire body reacted to the kill – launching upwards in a seemingly impossible and somewhat disconcerting trajectory; clearly a one-in-a-million Counter Strike physics glitch. To add insult to injury, the way in which Gh0st’s unprotected face was so unceremoniously and grotesquely slammed into the wall 20 feet above where Spaulding had initially shot him, was probably twice as horrific as any FPS physics designer had ever willfully programmed (to our utter delight). It was like watching a crash test dummy pilot a missile into an immovable object. Unfortunately for Gh0st that was the final kill in a final round and all spectators on his team were watching the action directly through Gh0st’s point of view. The resultant hysterical laughter resonated for just a moment as reality set in. The laughter gave way to the sad lament of a losing team. Then came respectful praise for Captain Spaulding, the hero of the winning team, and a true Geekfest Champion. The second video shows …
