PES 2009 Pro Evolution Soccer Tricks and Guides
Posted on Sep 12, 2009 under Pro Evolution Soccer | No CommentIn PES 2009, there are two types of dribblers.
1st
Those with high SPEED and AGILITY. Flair players blessed with tricks and have pace to burn.
2nd
Those with high ATTACK and BODY BALANCE.
Sprinting in PES 2009 gets you pass players, yet could cause you to lose control of the ball.
Making sudden turns would commit your opponent into a sliding tackle
My favourite – moving diagonally towards the defender’s right, then changing to his left, and sprint pass him.
Another method – turn 90degrees up/down, and turn back towards goal when you beat him.
The fake shot technique in PES 2009 could trick your way past defenders.
Use the fake shot and move to the direction of your stronger foot, allowing you to pull off a good shot quickly.
Now, let us explore the crossing aspect of PES 09.
Working your way up the flanks, it would be a waste not to deliver a good cross in.
You have made your way to the wings, and there are attackers in the box! Time for an accurate delivery in!
If you find it hard to score from crosses in PES 2009, perhaps these advice could help.
Firstly, I would set the crossing control to option 5.
You can use (R x 2) while holding (circle) to whip in a high-arc crosses.
At times, change flanks by crossing the ball to the other side when one flank becomes too crowded.
When rushing towards the corner flag with a chasing defender, you could choose to turn back and cross with your other leg. This would evade the defender.
At times, your side back might be just behind the winger. Passing the ball back for the side back to cross into the box first time could open up the angle.
With these tips on hand, make your crosses count in PES 2009!
